Niefern-Öschelbronn (dpa/lsw) - An 18-year-old is said to have triggered a false amok alarm at a school in Niefern-Öschelbronn (Enzkreis) in mid-July. The former student was apparently dissatisfied because she had failed an exam, the police said on Tuesday.
The alarm had caused a larger deployment of police and rescue services at the time. Around 400 students were escorted out of the building.
The suspect must now expect a criminal complaint, among other things, for disturbing the public peace through the threat of criminal offenses. The officials are therefore checking whether the young woman has to pay for the - unquantified - deployment costs.
