Baden-Württemberg: 20-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a car

Illingen (dpa / lsw) - A 20-year-old motorcyclist died after a traffic accident on a federal road in the Enzkreis district. The man recognized a red traffic light too late on Wednesday afternoon, braked sharply, but still crashed into a stationary car with great force, the police said. He sustained such serious injuries that he died in hospital shortly afterwards. The 58-year-old driver was slightly injured. According to police estimates, the total damage is around 15,000 euros.
