Veringenstadt (dpa / lsw) - A 21-year-old is suspected of having seriously injured an elderly acquaintance in his apartment in the Sigmaringen district with a knife. After a short conversation on Thursday, the young woman suddenly stabbed the stomach of the 64-year-old in Veringenstadt with a knife and inflicted a life-threatening injury on him, police and prosecutors said on Monday.
The victim called the ambulance himself. After an emergency operation, the man is now out of danger. The 21-year-old was arrested on Friday. Because, according to the police, she was in a mental state of emergency, she was placed in a psychiatric hospital.
