Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - Second division soccer team Karlsruher SC clearly won its first test match in the new year. Coach Christian Eichner's team won 5-1 (4-0) at third division SV Waldhof Mannheim on Saturday. Striker Mikkel Kaufmann with a brace (1st and 40th minute), top scorer Fabian Schleusener (35th), playmaker Marvin Wanitzek (45th) and offensive player Malik Batmaz (50th) scored for KSC. Attacker Thomas Pledl scored the only goal for Mannheim (70'). The game took place behind closed doors.
