Baden-Württemberg: accident with three vehicles: the highway is temporarily completely closed

Eding-Neckarhausen (dpa / lsw) - After an accident involving three vehicles on the Autobahn 656 between the Heidelberg junction and Edingen-Neckarhausen (Rhein-Neckar district), three people came to clinics. The highway was briefly closed on Tuesday, police said. First responders had freed the person who caused the accident from his overturned pickup truck. The severity of the injuries was initially unclear. The man had probably noticed the end of a traffic jam too late and drove into a van, which in turn was pushed onto a van. One lane was reopened after about 40 minutes. There was a two-kilometer traffic jam.
