Achern/Kirchheim unter Teck (dpa/lsw) - Two autobahns in the southwest had to be partially closed after accidents. On the Autobahn 5 and Autobahn 8, there were accidents involving several parties, the police said on Wednesday.
The accident on the A5 occurred in the morning near Achern (Ortenaukreis district), the lane towards Basel was initially completely blocked. On the A8 in the morning, a car near Kirchheim unter Teck (Esslingen district) drove into another car and was then thrown against a truck. According to initial findings, two people were injured. Traffic was diverted in front of the Kirchheim junction under Teck-West.
