Schwäbisch Gmünd (dpa / lsw) - An acid leak on the Bosch factory premises in Schwäbisch Gmünd caused a large-scale deployment of the fire brigade. Around 5:00 p.m., the acid leaked on Wednesday for an initially unclear reason, as a spokesman for the Aalen police headquarters said in the evening when asked.
The fire brigade's deployed forces ventilated the building in which the liquid was located and sucked up the leaked acid. No one was injured, and there was no damage to the building. A total of around 50 emergency services from the local fire brigades were on site, and the company fire brigade was also deployed. Further details were not initially known.
