Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - After a truck fire, the blocking of the A6 has been partially lifted. As the police announced on Thursday, the lanes to the south are free again.
The A6 was completely closed on Thursday morning due to the fire. According to current knowledge, no one was injured. So far it is unclear how the fire between the Mannheim/Schwetzingen junction and the Mannheim motorway junction came about. The lanes to the north are still closed, the cleaning and salvage work is ongoing.
