Bad Dürrheim (dpa/lsw) - The beverage manufacturer Bad Dürrheimer has recalled the Bad Dürrheim organic mineral water natural in the 0.5 liter PET bottle due to a possible packaging error. The batch with the initial label L201 visible on the bottle and the best before date 20.07.23 is affected. This was announced by Bad Dürrheimer Mineralbrunnen GmbH Co. KG on Wednesday in Bad Dürrheim (Schwarzwald-Baar district).
When bottles are opened, an unpleasant "foreign smell" can escape, which is atypical for mineral water, the company reported. The smell suggests "faulty packaging".
The manufacturer advised consumers against consuming the goods. It should be returned to the retailer instead. "The mineral water quality of Bad Dürrheimer Naturell is impeccable across all other packaging," wrote the company.
