Bietigheim (dpa / lsw) - The Bundesliga handball players of the SG BBM Bietigheim start the preparation. However, the German champions and cup winners will be missing the only new signing so far this Monday. Circle player Kaba Gassama, who last played for CJF Fleury Loiret Handball in France, is still on the road with the Spanish national team, according to the club.
The SG will play the first preparatory game on July 16th against the second division side Frisch Auf Göppingen in the home hall at the viaduct. However, the test takes place without a spectator. A training camp is scheduled for August 14-18 in Kappl, Austria. The new season will start on September 7th.
The women from Bietigheim not only won four titles in the previous season. Coach Markus Gaugisch's team also won 53 games in a row across all competitions.
