Baden-Württemberg: Boy finds stolen mountain bike after five months

Bietigheim (dpa / lsw) - With luck and good eyes, a boy in the Rastatt district found his mountain bike that was stolen from him five months ago. As the police announced on Tuesday, the 13-year-old accidentally discovered the bike at the train station in Bietigheim on Sunday evening - although it looked a little different: someone had repainted the bike and connected it to a bicycle stand with a chain lock. Because the boy was able to prove that it was his bike, the police removed the lock and returned the property to the lucky finder.
