Baden-Württemberg: Bridge closed after ship accident

Ilvesheim (dpa/lsw) - When a ship collided with a bridge near Ilvesheim (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis), a lot of damage was caused. The police estimated him at around 100,000 euros. Road traffic on the bridge was closed to heavy vehicles of more than five tons and to the bus route that runs there. The shipping lane on the Neckar was reopened on Tuesday after a short time. The wheelhouse of the Dutch motor tanker got stuck on the bridge. One person sustained a minor laceration. The ship was no longer ready to sail. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
