Baden-Württemberg: car collides with motorhome: four injured

Neuenbürg (dpa / lsw) - In an accident on the federal highway 294 between Höfen an der Enz and Neuenbürg, three people were life-threatening and one was seriously injured. A driver came into the oncoming lane on Sunday and collided with an oncoming motorhome, the police said. The 65-year-old who caused the accident, his 65-year-old passenger and the 28-year-old driver of the mobile home suffered life-threatening injuries. The 25-year-old passenger in the camper suffered serious injuries. The fire brigade had to open the vehicles with rescue shears to save the occupants. A rescue helicopter was also deployed. The police estimate the damage at 50,000 euros. The B294 was closed in both directions for several hours.
