Amtzell (dpa / lsw) - A 19-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle on the rain-soaked roadway of federal highway 32 near Amtzell (Ravensburg district), it came off the road and rolled over several times. The four vehicle occupants, aged 19 to 22, were "all moderately to seriously injured" on Friday evening, a police spokesman said on Saturday. Emergency services took them to nearby hospitals. According to police, the driver said he lost control due to a blown tire. As a result, the car spun across the roadway and then left onto the green verge, where it rolled over twice. Police estimate the damage caused to be around $6,000.
