Baden-Württemberg: car rolls over on A5: driver seriously injured

Ettenheim (dpa / lsw) - A car rolled over on the A5 - the driver was seriously injured. The 23-year-old left the Autobahn 5 near Ettenheim (Ortenaukreis district) in the early morning hours of Saturday for initially unclear circumstances, the police said. His car drove over a grass verge, broke through the guardrail and overturned. Only after 15 meters did he come to a halt. A passenger was trapped and had to be freed from the car by a police officer. The passenger suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital by paramedics. The 23-year-old suffered minor injuries.
