Baden-Baden (dpa / lsw) - Six men smuggled themselves into Baden-Württemberg without identification papers and were caught on the loading area of a truck on Autobahn 5 near Baden-Baden. During his break, the driver heard noises and voices from the hold and informed the investigators, as the federal police announced on Monday.
The four Afghan and two Pakistani men are said to have climbed onto the semi-trailer in Romania and thus come to Germany via Austria. According to the police, the six men came to the state initial reception center for refugees in Karlsruhe at the weekend. A suspicion of criminal offenses against the driver for smuggling had not been substantiated.
