Constance (dpa/lsw) - After the alleged kidnapping and blackmail of a young man in Constance, charges have been brought against a total of six people between the ages of 17 and 22. The list of allegations is long. The four men and two young women are accused, among other things, of extortionate kidnapping, robbery, particularly serious extortion and dangerous bodily harm, as a spokesman for the public prosecutor said on Friday. A large part of the group was arrested on Easter Monday by a special task force in Constance. The reason for the crime is said to have been drug deals and debt.
The "Südkurier" was the first to report on the indictment. "It's a case that stands out a bit from the mass of charges brought to the district court because it was a particularly serious act that you don't read every day," prosecutor Andreas Mathy told the newspaper.
According to prosecutors, the then 19-year-old victim was kidnapped on the street because he owed money to the suspected drug gang. According to "Südkurier", the victim was taken to a holiday home almost two kilometers away and mistreated there. During the night, the 19-year-old managed to flee and alert the police.
