Kenzingen (dpa / lsw) - A construction worker was killed by a prefabricated house component weighing around 1.8 tons. According to the fire department, the man was already dead on Monday morning when the rescue workers reached the scene of the accident in Kenzingen (Emmendingen district). "The rescue took almost two hours," said the responsible fire department commander. The approximately 15 meter long component was lifted by a crane to rescue the man. The fire brigade could not provide any information on the course of the accident. The "Badische Zeitung" reported first.
