Baden-Württemberg: corpse in Stuttgart parking garage: murder process continues

A 33-year-old is said to have shot his wife while driving. Her body was found a day later in a Stuttgart parking garage. How could this happen? A process should clarify that.

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - After a body was found in a Stuttgart parking garage, the trial against the victim's husband will continue on Wednesday (9:00 a.m.). A lay judge had "sweated" the start of the trial last week. Therefore, the hearing was interrupted after five minutes. For this reason, the 33-year-old defendant did not have a say. The German is accused of murder. Accordingly, he is said to have shot his 32-year-old wife in July 2022 while driving. A day later, her body was found in a parking garage.

In December, the Stuttgart public prosecutor brought charges against the suspect. The 33-year-old has been in custody since August. According to the police, he was wanted with an international arrest warrant and arrested after a trip to Turkey at Stuttgart Airport.
