Wangen im Allgäu (dpa/lsw) - After a hotel fire last Friday in Wangen im Allgäu, the cause of the fire has been determined. According to experts, a technical defect in a multiple socket led to the fire, the police said on Wednesday. The damage to the hotel complex is now estimated at two to three million euros. For hours, around 100 emergency services had fought against the fire. Nobody got hurt. According to the police, the flames had spread through a false ceiling under the tin roof. A woman saw smoke and called emergency services.
