Baden-Württemberg: Drunk driver builds accident: Two injured

Vaihingen an der Enz (dpa / lsw) - In an accident in the Ludwigsburg district with three cars, a drunk driver rolled over his car after overtaking. The 40-year-old man was on highway 1125 near Vaihingen an der Enz on Thursday when he overtook a truck, the police said. An oncoming 51-year-old car driver was able to dodge, but not a following 50-year-old driver. As a result of the collision, the overtaking vehicle was thrown into the oncoming lane and came to rest on the roof in an embankment. The woman and the person who caused the accident were taken to the hospital. It is not known how badly they were injured, a police spokesman said on Friday. The road was blocked for about two hours.
