Baden-Württemberg: drunk gets lost and swims through the river

Warthausen (dpa / lsw) - In cool temperatures, a 31-year-old in the Biberach district wandered around after a celebration and swam through a river. The police said he was very drunk and only lightly dressed in Warthausen on Saturday night. On the way home he told his partner that he had lost his bearings. "Then the connection broke off. The police and relatives therefore started a large search operation," the police said. A company gatekeeper spotted the man in a parking lot. The drunk was severely hypothermic and soaked. According to police, he swam through the Riss River and walked aimlessly through the morass.
