Baden-Württemberg: Drunk man attacks rescue workers

Ravensburg (dpa / lsw) - A drunk hit a paramedic at a party in Ravensburg. The 23-year-old had previously had an argument with a 21-year-old at the party on Saturday, which ended bloodily, the police said on Sunday. Both men sustained injuries. The attacker refused to be treated by the paramedics who were called and punched one of the paramedics in the face. To prevent further escalations, the police officers took the man into custody, against which he defended himself with punches and kicks. Both the 23-year-old and the 21-year-old were taken to the hospital.
