Heidenheim (dpa / lsw) – A family of ducks caused a rear-end collision on Autobahn 7 near Heidenheim with four injuries. As the police announced on Sunday, a 65-year-old braked his car on Saturday because of the animals. A following driver recognized this too late and drove his car into the car. Another vehicle was also damaged in the collision.

The four people in the 65-year-old’s car were taken to hospital with injuries. The police estimate the damage at around 70,000 euros. “According to the police, the family of ducks got away with being frightened and quickly left the scene of the accident,” it said.
