Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - A 31-year-old was sentenced to eight months' imprisonment on Wednesday for financing terrorism and supporting a terrorist organization abroad. The Stuttgart Higher Regional Court saw it as proven that the man from the Lörrach district sent 200 euros by post to a fundraiser for the Islamic State (IS) terrorist militia in January 2018. In a telegram channel called "Al-Hudhud", he called for donations that should benefit IS. The accused made a confession. The judgment is final.
