Baden-Württemberg: Elderly man attacked and injured while delivering newspapers

Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - In the middle of the night, a 70-year-old man was attacked and injured while delivering newspapers in Mannheim. The man was sprayed in the face with pepper spray by strangers, the police said on Monday. The 70-year-old then fell off his bike and was slightly injured. A 57-year-old wanted to help him, but he was also sprayed and suffered minor injuries. There was initially no trace of the perpetrators.
