Geislingen an der Steige (dpa/lsw) - The police in Geislingen an der Steige (Göppingen district) took a woman out of an apartment because her former boyfriend had kept her there. The 23-year-old reported to an acquaintance via messenger on Wednesday, the police said. She explained to him that she was being held in the apartment by her former boyfriend. The friend then called the police.
The officers found the 26-year-old, who is said to have held the woman, in the apartment and arrested him. The 23-year-old was handed over to the emergency services with minor injuries. It was still unclear whether the injuries came from the incident and why the man held the woman in his apartment.
