Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Unknown people robbed and beat up a man in Stuttgart during a fake car sale. Witnesses found the 42-year-old seriously injured on Sunday and dialed the emergency call, the police in Stuttgart announced on Tuesday. He came to a hospital for treatment.
The man had previously met with three alleged car salespeople and had gotten into a car with them, as the car for sale was said to be ten minutes away. Arrived at the point of sale, the men demanded his cash from the 42-year-old. When the man was first supposed to see the car, they hit him and took away several thousand euros in cash. According to the police, one of the men hit the 42-year-old's head several times with an object. The perpetrators then fled by car. The police have started investigations.
