Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - The police arrested four men who are said to have pretended to be police officers at least six times and thus stole money. The men allegedly caused damage of around 100,000 euros, as the police announced on Friday. The investigations by the Karlsruhe Criminal Inspectorate have been running since December 2022 and led the officers to North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse, where the suspects were arrested. The men, aged 21, 22, 23 and 30, were brought before the magistrate on Wednesday. Investigations should show whether they are also responsible for other similar acts.
