Ehingen (dpa / lsw) - After the serious accident on Tuesday near Ehingen (Alb-Donau-Kreis) with two dead, there are new insights into the course of the accident. According to the police, the car went into the opposite lane on the left and collided with a trailer truck. The car was thrown after the impact and hit the guardrail several times. The truck overturned on the embankment of the road, the driver was slightly injured.
A family was in the car: the 32-year-old father and the 8-year-old daughter died at the accident site on federal highway 311 near Deppenhausen, the police said on Wednesday. The 25-year-old mother and 7-year-old son were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The road was closed until 2 a.m., police said.
