Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The German Weather Service (DWD) has warned of hurricane gusts in the Black Forest. These could reach speeds of up to 130 kilometers per hour, said the DWD in a warning report for Baden-Württemberg.
The wind will freshen up in the southern half of the country on Wednesday, the weather service reported. Hurricane gusts could then occur on Thursday night.
Some fresh snow could trigger areas of slippery weather on Wednesday. At high altitudes in the Black Forest, you have to be prepared for heavy continuous rain until Thursday. In the low mountain range, individual thunderstorms are also possible.
