Baden-Württemberg: glider pilot lands in meadow orchards in Blaubeuren

Blaubeuren (dpa / lsw) - A 60-year-old pilot was slightly injured in a crash landing at Blaubeuren airfield. His glider, which came to a standstill on a meadow orchard on Saturday afternoon, suffered damage of around 25,000 euros, as the police announced on Sunday. According to initial findings, the pilot approached the runway too high, which made the landing longer. Club members collected parts of the wreck.
