Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) - On Sunday it should be noisy in Karlsruhe: At the competitions of the state brass band meeting (from 9 a.m.) around 600 hunting horn blowers from all over Baden-Württemberg are expected in front of the castle. At 2:00 p.m. the final concert of all hunting horn players is planned in the castle park, including the award ceremony. According to the state hunting association, the meeting should start with a Hubertus mass in the Catholic town church of St. Stephan on Saturday, followed by a "Green Evening" in the Brauhaus Kühler Krug.

Actually, the Landesbläsertreffen should have taken place in Freiburg. Due to changes in the organization team there, the Karlsruhe team took over the staging. Quite fitting: the Jägervereinigung Karlsruhe is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
