On Friday, a tow plane and a glider collided in the air at the airfield near Böttingen and crashed. The two occupants of the glider, a 56-year-old flight instructor and a 14-year-old student pilot, died. The 62-year-old pilot of the motorized towing aircraft was able to save himself with a parachute and was slightly injured.
