Baden-Württemberg: It remains summery: heat over 30 degrees in sight

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - After a weekend with often blue skies, according to meteorologists, it should remain summery in the new week. A low pressure area with local heavy rain, hail and gusts of wind passed through on Monday night. But after that, a high will ensure pleasant temperatures of up to 25 degrees, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) on Sunday in Stuttgart.

The high ensures continuously rising temperatures, which are likely to peak on Friday and Saturday. Nationwide, the values should then exceed the 30-degree mark during the day, and temperatures of around 35 degrees are even possible locally, the weather service reported.

When the air temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius, experts usually speak of a "hot day".
