Hechingen (dpa / lsw) - A 63-year-old has been charged with attempted murder because she is said to have attacked her landlord with two knives. The German is accused of stabbing him at the front door of the 77-year-old in Bisingen (Zollernalbkreis), the public prosecutor announced on Wednesday. The man then slammed the door and escaped with minor injuries. Disputes between the two, who are also neighbors, led to the attack, according to the investigation.

The woman has been in custody since the crime in June of this year. She declined to comment on the allegations. According to the prosecutor, she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime. The Hechingen district court must now decide whether to allow the charge of attempted murder in combination with dangerous bodily harm.
