Baden-Württemberg: "Large debris field" on the A8: three drivers injured

Sindelfingen (dpa / lsw) - In a traffic accident on the Autobahn 8 near Sindelfingen (Böblingen district), three people were slightly injured. A 32-year-old lost control of his car on Tuesday evening, probably for health reasons, the police said on Wednesday night. The car hit a concrete safety barrier, skidded and crashed into two other cars. The force of the impact pushed one of these cars onto a truck. The drivers of the three cars were taken to the hospital. The police estimate the property damage at around 40,000 euros. "Due to a large field of debris", three of the four lanes in the direction of Karlsruhe had to be closed for about three hours.
