Heilbronn (dpa/lsw) - Baden-Württemberg has a new Lotto millionaire: A player from Heilbronn won over 2.1 million euros in the draw on Saturday, as Lotto Baden-Württemberg announced on Monday. He had guessed the winning numbers 1, 7, 8, 21, 45 and 48 correctly. Only the super number 0 was missing for the really big jackpot.
The lucky guy played a complete lottery ticket with 14 fields for 17 euros. Nationwide there was only one other winner from North Rhine-Westphalia on Saturday, who also hit prize class 2 and can celebrate the same sum.
The player from Heilbronn had submitted his ticket online, which is why Lotto Baden-Württemberg knows his name and will automatically transfer the winnings to him. The probability of hitting was said to be around 1 in 15.5 million.
