During an argument with his older brother, a man tries to take refuge in a house, but it was the wrong place to go. According to investigators, the older man shot at him with a crossbow. Now the process begins.
Ulm/Schlierbach (dpa/lsw) - According to the public prosecutor's office, a man shot his younger brother with a crossbow in order to kill him. The trial against the 59-year-old in the Ulm district court begins this Tuesday.
During the attack, the younger brother was said to be behind a glass door in the defendant's house in Schlierbach (Göppingen district). So he got away with an injury.
According to the investigation, three brothers were on the property of the 59-year-old. The man threatened his younger (55) and older brother (60) with a crossbow and asked them to leave the premises.
While the older brother left the property, the younger one fled into the house, the public prosecutor said. There the 59-year-old then shot him through the glass door. The man is charged with attempted manslaughter.
