A fine of 60 daily rates of 30 euros each was imposed on the accused with a penalty order from the Calw district court, the Tübingen public prosecutor announced on Friday. "The procedure is final."
The police and public prosecutor's office had investigated a violation of the Animal Welfare Act after a complaint by the animal welfare organization Peta.
