Emmendingen (dpa / lsw) - Because he repeatedly sexually abused women during medical treatments, a masseur was sentenced to three years and three months in prison. As the district court in Emmendingen in Baden announced on Monday, the 44-year-old was found guilty in 15 cases of sexual abuse using a treatment relationship. These included two cases involving sexual assault and two cases involving rape.
According to the court, the incidents took place in a therapy center from summer 2020 to spring 2021. The court ruled that the accused was not allowed to work as a physiotherapist and sports therapist for three years, and he was also not allowed to massage women during this period. The trial before the lay judge in Emmendingen began earlier this month.
