Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The disruptions in the mobile network have also been remedied in the southwest. The situation center in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior gave the all-clear on Friday morning. In the O2 network, cell phone calls were temporarily not possible for some users from Thursday afternoon; sometimes customers could not reach the emergency number. However, there was no evidence of a fundamental disruption to the emergency call, such as in Bremen or Hamburg.
The reason for the restrictions on mobile telephony was a fault on a voice transmission server, the company said. Calls with apps like Whatsapp were possible via data transfer servers.
