Heidenheim (dpa / lsw) - 1. FC Heidenheim loses football professional Tobias Mohr to Bundesliga promoted FC Schalke 04. The 26-year-old midfielder is leaving the second division club of his own volition, as the Heidenheimer announced on Wednesday. It was agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer. In Gelsenkirchen, Mohr signed a contract until June 30, 2025.
"He informed us that he would like to take advantage of this opportunity and switch to FC Schalke 04, which is completely understandable from his personal point of view," said Heidenheim's CEO Holger Sanwald. "In the past few days we have found a very good solution with those responsible at Schalke 04 as to how this transfer will help our club in the long term from an economic point of view."
Mohr wore the FCH jersey for two and a half years and scored eleven goals in 78 competitive games. In addition, the left winger prepared 17 goals.
