Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - In a serious traffic accident on Autobahn 5 near Bad Krozingen (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district), one man died and another was seriously injured. As the police reported on Monday, a pickup truck drove into a truck early Monday morning. The 62-year-old passenger in the van died, the 23-year-old driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. It is still unclear why the crash occurred.
The lane between Bad Krozingen and Hartheim/Heitersheim had to be temporarily closed and was only released at around 10 a.m. The amount of property damage has not yet been determined.
