Baden-Württemberg: Pedelec driver seriously injured in collision with car

Frickingen (dpa / lsw) - A pedelec driver was seriously injured in an accident with a car on Landstraße 200 near Frickingen (Bodenseekreis). The 86-year-old ignored a stop sign at an intersection on Sunday and then collided with a car, the police said. The man had to be taken to a hospital by helicopter because of serious head injuries. The police estimate the damage to the car at around 15,000 euros. The bike was no longer roadworthy after the incident. The L200 was closed to record the accident.
