Aalen (dpa / lsw) - A fire in a single-family house in Urbach, east of Stuttgart, caused damage of 400,000 euros. The 56-year-old homeowner placed a pot of hot ashes on the terrace on Thursday evening, a spokeswoman for the Aalen police said on Friday morning. The pot had therefore ignited and kindled a fire that spread to the facade, the house entrance and finally the attic. According to the information, around 60 emergency services from the fire brigade were on duty to extinguish the fire. People were not hurt in the fire.
