Markgröningen (dpa/lsw) - Thieves stole power cables worth more than 180,000 euros from a company in the Ludwigsburg district. By cutting through parts of a fence, the previously unknown perpetrators got to the site of the road construction company in Markgroeningen between Friday afternoon and Tuesday morning, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
According to the information, the power cables of different strengths were located in the company's external warehouse. The police assume that the perpetrators cut the cables into pieces in order to transport them. The police put the weight of the stolen cables at around ten tons.
