Großbottwar (dpa / lsw) - A quad driver died after an accident near Großbottwar (Ludwigsburg district). The man had come into the oncoming lane with his quad and collided head-on with a car, the police said on Wednesday. The 58-year-old succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to police, it was initially unclear why the man strayed from his lane. The 25-year-old driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed. The highway was closed for four hours on Tuesday.
