Baden-Württemberg: Raccoon in Heidelberg main station

Heidelberg (dpa / lsw) - A raccoon caused a stir in Heidelberg's main train station. As the police announced on Monday, the nocturnal animal was discovered around 1.30 a.m. on Sunday night above platforms 7/8 and 8/9. Federal police officers then informed the animal rescue service. According to the police, the raccoon could not be caught during the night. On Monday morning, the federal police published a photo of the raccoon on Twitter with the note that he was initially allowed to stay in the main station as a night watchman.
