Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - In a rear-end collision on the A5 between the Freiburg-Mitte and -Nord junctions, several people were injured, two of them critically. As the police announced, a car driving in the direction of Karlsruhe drove into another car in the left lane for reasons that have not yet been clarified. According to the information, a total of seven people were injured in the accident on Saturday afternoon, some seriously, among the slightly injured were an 11-year-old child and a 14-year-old teenager. Two rescue helicopters were also used to transport the injured. The roadway was completely released again in the early evening after the rescue and clearance measures. The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
